JLG 519 Telehandler Rental - State College, PA
Need to set pallets on a second-story deck, feed a mason, or load a flatbed on a job site too tight for a full-size reach forklift? The JLG 519 telehandler does all three. It lifts 5,500 pounds to just under 19 feet, and at only 72 inches wide it slips through standard gates and doorways that stop bigger machines cold. JLG's ground-up redesign of the old G5-18A, the 519 gives an operator three selectable steering modes — two-wheel, four-wheel, and crab — so you can thread it through a crowded site and still drive straight down the road at 15 mph. Add a universal skid steer coupler and one machine runs forks, buckets, a grapple, a lifting hook, or a work platform without a second unit on the trailer. We inspect and service every telehandler in our yard before it ships. Call us and we'll match the 519 — and the right attachment — to your load, your site, and your timeline.

Compact Telehandler for Tight Job Sites
At 72 inches wide, 76 inches tall in transport, and a 126-inch outside turning radius, the 519 works in the alleys, gated backyards, and packed downtown sites where a full-size reach forklift won't fit. Three operator-selectable steering modes — two-wheel front steer for the road, four-wheel steer for tight turns, and crab steer for sidling up to a wall — mean you place the load where it needs to go without a five-point turn.

One Machine, Every Attachment
The 519 ships with a JLG mechanical coupler and accepts a universal skid steer adapter, so it runs the attachments you already own. Pallet forks for material handling, a general-purpose or light-material bucket for cleanup and loading, a grapple bucket for bulky debris, a coupler-mounted lifting hook for crane-style picks, and a fork-mounted work platform for getting crews up to height — one telehandler covers all of it. The multifunction electric-over-hydraulic joystick puts auxiliary hydraulic flow and attachment tilt right under the operator's thumb, so swapping tasks doesn't mean swapping machines.

5,500 lb Capacity, Nearly 19 ft of Lift
Rated capacity is 5,500 pounds, max lift height is 18 ft 7 in, and it still carries 4,400 pounds all the way up at full height — enough to land a loaded pallet on a second-story floor or stack block where the crew needs it. Forward reach tops out at 10 ft 10 in, with 1,900 pounds at full extension for setting loads in over an obstacle. JLG improved the load chart across the board on this redesign, so you get more usable capacity through more of the working envelope — not just on paper.

We rent the machines we’d run ourselves.
Every machine we rent — the JLG 519 included — is inspected and serviced by our own techs before it leaves the yard.
The 519 handles 5,500 lb to nearly 19 feet, fits through standard gates at 72 inches wide, and runs any attachment you already own. If it’s the right machine for your job, we’ll set it up with the right attachment package — and if it’s not, we’ll point you to the one that is.
That’s the difference between a national catalog and a local crew that’s run this equipment. Call 814-883-9444 and we’ll get you working.
