Wheels, Not Tracks — The Right Machine for Finished Surfaces
Kind to pavement. Tires roll over finished concrete, asphalt, and pavers without the scuffing, scrubbing, and tearing that rubber tracks leave behind on a hard surface. If your job is a parking lot, a driveway, a paved alley, or anywhere the customer is going to inspect the ground when you leave — this is the machine.
Cheaper by the hour. Tracks are the dominant consumable on a compact track loader. There's no track set to wear out on a 250, and that shows up in what a rental costs you.
Narrow, Light, and Quick Between Jobs
Fits where the tracked machines don't. 66 inches wide over tires — nearly 10 inches narrower than our Cat 265. That's the difference between getting through a standard gate, a side yard, or an alley and leaving the machine on the trailer.
Easier to haul, faster on site. 7,829 lb operating weight tows on a 10,000 lb trailer instead of the 14,000 lb class a 265 needs, and two-speed travel hits 10.5 mph — about 30% quicker than a track loader when your day is three stops instead of one.

Vertical lift for truck loading. Bucket pin height reaches 124 in — just over 10 ft — and the arms reach out and up at full height, so you clear the side of a dump truck and place the load instead of dumping short. Cat Smart Attachment compatible, same coupler as our tracked loaders.

Will it mark up new asphalt or concrete?
Tires are far gentler on finished surfaces than rubber tracks. That's the main reason to choose the 250.
